Here I am, sitting in the shade high in the mountains, enjoying a nice break from summer school. I noticed a lot of my friends from high school are at the beach right now (thank you Facebook). I’m pretty sure I liked the beach once when I was little, but now I prefer the mountains. No offense to my dirt-dwelling friends and family, but the mountains are quieter, cleaner, and more secluded. Besides, if the world ever comes to an end, it’ll start on the coasts. As long as I have internet, Red Bull, and vodka, I can survive anything.
